I have decided that I am not going to completely give up on meat and if I want an occasional sushi dish, steak, or tuna salad, I am going to. No sense in depriving myself, but Im talking once or twice a month.... if even. No sense in creating a label for myself, plus I am tired of having the herbivore/carnivore/instanutritionist arguments. My diet, my business and will no longer be sharing that info. I am only going to suggest and post nutrition information that I feel is relevant to society as a whole. However, I thought this was a good article to read. Some should even consider the idea of cutting down on their meat intake, simply for a little better health. The National Health and Nutrition Survey, which has been collecting data on 6,381 Americans over 50, recently released a study that found that diets rich in protein (like the protein found in meat) could be as harmful to the body as smoking. If you’re under 65 and eat lots of meat, dairy, and eggs, you are, apparently, four times more likely to die of diabetes or cancer. Have a good day!!
