I have decided to change the contest up just a little. Heres the scoop: Upon completion of Shattered Stars: Vanguard, we will draw for the following prizes: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be given one hundred dollars ($100 USD), in addition to receiving an autographed, first-edition copy of the novel, a character of their design and creation appearing in the sequel, and a special, honorable mention in the Forward of Shattered Stars: Vanguard. Five (5) Runner-up winners will receive signed copies of the novel as well as special mentions in the Forward of the book. I will also be keeping an eye on those who share things off of our page and helping to Promote this work of fiction. I will draw from the names of those whom I deem to have done the most and/or greatest in this area, and the sole winner will receive fifty dollars ($50), a signed copy of the book containing something special, and a personalized special mention in the Forward of the book. In the event we get up to 500 page likes or more, the number of Grand Prize winners will increase to two (2) and the promotional winners will also increase to two (2)...in short, a minimum of One Hundred and Fifty dollars ($150 USD) up to a maximum of Three Hundred dollars ($300 USD) is up for grabs with this contest. Please read on to find the rules and regulations of this contest. 1. Contest is open only to those whove joined our Facebook page via a Like of our page. 2. Contest will close twenty-four (24) hours following completion of Shattered Stars: Vanguard. Drawings for the Grand Prize will occur every Sunday from now until Shattered Stars: Vanguard is complete. Upon closure of the contest, a semi-final drawing will be held, comprised of the weekly winners. Upon the choosing of the appropriate number of names (six if Facebook page has 499 or less Likes, seven if above that number), a final drawing will be held, comprising of those six (or seven names). The name(s) drawn will be declared the Grand Prize Winner(s), with the remainders being declared the runner-up winners. 3. For the promotional drawing, a single drawing will be held twenty-four hours upon completion of Shattered Stars: Vanguard, comprising the names of those chosen to have significantly aided in the promotion of Shattered Stars. These persons will be chosen by the admins of the Shattered Stars Facebook page, and the name(s) chosen will be declared the winners. 4. Monetary winnings will be issued upon drawing closure, either in person by the author or via regular post, depending on circumstances and distance. Other prizes will be issued upon publication of Shattered Stars: Vanguard 5. Any person(s) attempting to bribe the author or members of the pages administration, upon reception of proof, will be disqualified and banned from the page permanently; this will be a fair drawing. 6. The final drawings will be recorded, with the video being posted to the official Facebook page upon completion.
