I have developed a speech impediment! Had a rider grumble at me for not riding a consistent speed today (we werent riding together....he passed me when I was on a rest interval cruising back from Taitapu then he had a long winge about how I was making his ride difficult [poor dear mustve eaten some spray] as I rode at an inconsistent speed as I rolled past him when back on an on section of my intervals. I did comment that this was indeed possible as I was riding to a set power and leg RPM/cadence and doing intervals, and attempted to apologise but NO.....he kept being an asshole.......and that is when the speech impediment kicked in. I meant to say dude, you are an utter asshole but it came out as not very friendly mate (then I upped the power a little and pissed off into the distance). Should I be concerned that I am developing excessive politeness and this is impeding my normal speech patterns??
