I have done my good turn for the day! I helped an elderly lady who had fallen and badly hurt herself. I applied pressure to her wounds, supported her broken bones, calmed her daughter and joked with the lady to try and relax her whilst the ambulance came! Definitely thought on my feet, using my favourite hoodie to support her broken arm and shoulder and keeping her warm! Left her with paramedics feeling very satisfied that I had helped! Now feel a little miffed as I left my favourite hoodie with her!! Not sure it would have been salvageable anyway - quite a lot of blood, bless her. Perhaps I just need to be satisfied that it provided comfort to her!
