I have done some poking around in the files and I couldnt find an answer so if these queries are repeats I will surely appreciate it if youll help me out by pointing me in the general direction of the answers. Question 1: How do you get a ruff to sit up high around the face like you see in portraits...the Mark Rylance 12th Night used a rebatto (sp?), that ruff was rather larger. So what about the smaller ruffs? How can you get them to frame your face? Like really high right under the chin and then flaring up to meet the ears? we on the same page? I can reference a photo it it helps... Question 2: How do ear irons work? like how do they keep the coif close to the head? I cant wrap my little brain around them...
