I have dozens of friends on facebook who played professional football at many levels from Indoor to the NFL. Many of them with me and some against me. Ive admired and played with/against some of college footballs, arenafootballs, and the cfls greatest players. When I retired it was mainly because of the fact that I had played enough football, bottomline, but also because young cats dont respect the game. Me personally, I didnt feel the need to keep chasing the dream and finally realized I had achieved way more than I ever thought I would. When I see and hear the players of today take the sport I love for granted it makes me ill to my stomach, as a coach and former player. Take advice/criticism from anyone, and from everyone like a pro. Use it or dont, but dont let your ego get in the way of the intent. I have been mentoring pro athletes since 2007 and have coached 8 all league guys since then in high school, college, the AF2, AFL, and SIFL. They call me the SWAG Coach and not because I wear POLO everyday. Its because I played that way, coach that way, and win that way....with SWAG. 92 catches for 900 yards and 4 touchdowns in 18 games aint swag. To think some player thought otherwise!!! #Done #back2myhoneymoon
