I have enemies. My enemies and I share common acquaintances. Im sure this is true of others as well. I normally dont remove anyone from my social media lists unless you have done me and mine a grave injustice or personally attacked me. I will then block/delete you for my peace of mind and for your safety. Otherwise, I see every little random thought you have because I want to know how you work. The two things I want to extrapolate from this is this. First, why even bother keeping a friend on there if you block all of their updates/tweets? Its like saying I will be your friend and listen to what you say only when I have the need to talk to you or I want to snoop on you at my leisure. It doesnt make sense to me. Secondly, if I have a friend that I know was on the receiving end of maltreatment from a common friend and I know this beyond a shadow of a doubt to be true I will remove that person as well. I hate rude behavior in my fellow man. I wont tolerate it. I also wont adhere to it being practiced against my comrades either. What I dont understand is how do most people sit idly by knowingly accepting the fact that friend X perpetrated a horrendous act to friend Y and just say, Well its not like they did it to me. Perplexes me for sure. It reminds me of an old axiom that my father used, You cant play both sides of a fiddle.
