I have family and friends running for council seats. Our people know and see who is running. Our people must make their voices heard. Our votes are silent but they are powerful. Our true leaders have stepped up and put themselves out there not for them selves but for the people. When casting your vote today think about who is going to be the one to speak up for all of our people, who has the honest hearts and who are the humble, and reliable ones that will make good decisions not on behalf of their own personal gain but whats best for all of us as a tribe and not only for today or tomorrow but for our future as a people.. A Sovereign Lakota people.. Good luck to you candidates. My heart goes out to each and every one of you because I had the honor to follow some of you and the job your fighting to win is not a easy one.. I know if you all get in you will do diligent and careful work on behalf of all of us but I put all my trust in you that you will make the right decisions for us..
