I have felt so humbled by the outpouring of support and excitement from all of you who willingly stepped up and became powerhouses for Team TINA KELLY. I so badly hoped that we would win so that I could, for the first time in my life, really SPLASH OUT for others! I know there were alot of you voting tirelessly until the final second of last night. There are so many others to mention but I am afraid that if I start mentioning by names I may leave someone very important out. Thank you to all of my school friends both near and far from 1st grade all the way to graduate school, my Courtright family, my Kelly/Ireland/Gaelic Park family, Schmitz Family, Farrell Family, Krygowsli family, Cassell Family, Jennys Steak House, Face To Face Salon & Spa, StageDoor DanceAcademy Hippos, Tatas Pizza, Bourbon Street, all of my neighbors and friends who campaigned for me in Mt Greenwood and voted relentlessly until Thursday at midnight. And of course thank you to the friends that you recruited to keep voting for me even thought they had no idea who I am. And last but non least, my Amazing DuBois Elementary School. Students both past and present and even some futures students, as well as everyone those little sweet hearts could talk to were voting for their math teacher Mrs. Kelly. It just breaks my heart not to be able to go back to school and really do something special for those kids. I still believe that if I had only checked my phone sooner (before 2pm on Monday) that extra 5 hours could have made the difference! Regardless, It was quite an experience! The very biggest adrenaline rush I have ever felt for sure and I am so glad that I was able to share such a unique experience with ALL OF YOU! Love, Tina p.s.
