I have finally got permission to go and pay my final respects to former President of Uganda His Excellency Dr Apollo Milton Obote, the Hero of the Independence of Uganda and liberation. I got clearance from the fallen Heros Son who besides being his first born is his heir too.Tony Akaki Obote told me that he as the custodian allows me to go to his Fathers grave and pay my final respects but he advised me to since he is in Sudan lipase with his Mother Mama Miria Obote when im about to travel to Akokoro City where the remains of the Father of the Ugandan Nation are . Im the first Ugandan Politician to be officially accredited to visit the grave of the former President!! The first person to apply was Olara Otunnu whose application was rejected on grounds of betraying PresidentMilton Obote ,concpiring to kill people from Lango and senior members of UPC in 1985. I also have accreditation to visit the graves of my fallen comrades, Hon Dr John Luwuriza Kirunda former Minister of State for Internal affairs and that of Hon Tewungwa and ill obviously seek for the same from families of other departed comrades to give them my final goodbye.
