I have found a whole new level of respect for single parents. Ive had my boys on my own this week as Bec is having a well deserved holiday on a yacht at Hamilton Island and while it would have been a WHOLE lot easier if I had a routine - (would have made a massive difference actually), not having any routine showed me how it manic it could get - Im sure that anyones routine gets messed up at times so no doubt even the most organized single parent have their moments when routine goes out the window). Massive respect to those who do it full time .. its a full time job on its own.. and to those who do it AND work full time AND do it without moaning AND while not losing your marbles, your temper and your composure ... I bow down to you .. such outstanding fortitude.. It also made me realize just how much Bec does and me thinking we have a fair share because I mow the lawn, often cook dinner and look after the kids a few days a week .. well, that misconception is gone now .. Youre a trooper Bec and I promise I will do a little more around the place to even the scales a bit more ..
