I have found nothing to indicate they have changed their way of thinking on this subject and have reached out many times to no avail. So I want to take this time to let my hometown community know that Angels & Outlaws is coming to town and we are prepared to fight for the lives of ALL pit bull type dogs that reside in Erath County. This policy is ridiculous and archaic and a showing that racial profiling is OK when it absolutely is not! Join me please in letting the Erath County Humane Society know that we are NOT going to stand by while you MURDER any DOG no matter what breed it is! Unless the dog has been deemed dangerous (State Law says no dog can be deemed dangerous based on its breed or appearance ) or unless you are full ( ECHS is the only shelter I have seen in years that is never full) there is NO reason to kill ANY of the animals that come through there. Also since this is hot and fresh on mind lets understand something now. There is only ONE pit bull, The American Pit Bull Terrier Period end of discussion! The American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier are terrier and bull breeds but still only one American PIT BULL Terrier!!! Please get your facts from a website that is NOT connected to Colleen Lyn and her personal vendetta against a dog breed she swears she know but cant even pick out the correct dog in a picture with 20 blocky headed breeds. But, enough of what they HAVE done and are NOT doing. The Pit Bull discussion is coming! I wont back down, there is NO reason at all for every dog that has a blocky head to be euthanized! Just so you can see a little of how I am armed for this discussion. Fact: There has NEVER been an attack on a human by a Registered American Pit Bull Terrier that was spayed or neutered. So fix your Pets and your pits! We are going to ask to be placed on the agenda at the next board meeting. I will let yall know when as soon as I know! Please give me your input. No bashing, I would like to believe that this is going to be a good educational process for all involved. People tend to hate or fear what they dont know. So my goal is to educate!
