Wud like you all to understand few important points mentioned below: - Make sure you attach your latest pic in the resume & not the old one. - Your CV shd include your contact details, career objective, education qualification, experience (if any), awards & achievements, your strengths, your interests/hobbies & your personal information. - No need to simply make CV of 3-4 pages. It could be short, simple & comprehensive conveying the message effectively. But it must look professional. *Contact details shd include your landline no (if u hv), your cell no, P.O.Box (if it exists) & your mail ID. *Career Objective- e.g. 1: To build a career in a growing organization where I can get the opportunities to prove my abilities by accepting challenges, fulfilling the organizational goals & climb the career ladder through continuous learning & commitment. e.g. 2: To nurture into a skillful individual, who is able to deal with complex situations under pressure in the modern business era. I am exploring opportunities which can lay out a clear platform for me to prove my credentials. Want to build my career in a growing organization which would place its trust in my capabilities. I desire to develop skills which shall make me adaptable to the ever changing environment of competitive professional world. e.g. 3: Seeking a job to pursue a highly rewarding career and healthy work environment where I can utilize my skills and knowledge efficiently for the organizational & personal growth. * Experience should be mentioned from the most recent one highlighting the job profile & responsibilities * Educational Credentials/ Qualifications should start from the highest like MBA, BBA, Diploma, etc... * Awards & Achievements- (you can definitely mention about your thesis, projects, etc) Not just this, you can talk about your extra curricular activities as well.. e.g. - Participated in various Sports Events & Cultural activities in College - Member of the ABCD Club - Organized various Blood Donation camps at College & Hospitals - Hold the record for being the Sports Champion in college in the year ..... - Active participation in Inter-School Competitions & Championships in Cricket, Football & Table Tennis - Also participated in School Debates, Quizzes, Plays & other social activities * Your strengths could be: - Flexibility and adaptability to work in any environment - Willingness to accept challenges irrespective of their complexity - Good team player and positive attitude, etc * Your skills & traits could include: - Mention about your personal & technical skills & knowledge like: Possess a good understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) - Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills - Active team player with leadership qualities - Ambitious and Optimistic - Inclination to learn new innovative practices - Goal oriented, etc (you may include all the strengths under the same head of skills & traits as well.. so it depends on how you want to put it across) * Personal information/ details should include: Date of Birth : Nationality : Marital Status : Visa Status : Driving License : Languages known: Hope this information helps you people!
