I have got to say, I put it down in this life. I lost both of my parents in my teenage years, I raised my daughter on my own needing no man to support me or her, independent since day one, been working even before I could drive, walked in the snow to get to my job when I was a teen, I dont throw pity parties or try to use my negative history as a way for people to be soft on me, I stand strong, take lifes blows, still manage to give thanks to the man up above, and use my life to show others they can rise from anything, I am a certified supervisor with an employer who offers amazing benefits, and education, I put food on the table, I provide a roof over my daughters head, I drive a car that talks to me, follows commands, and even warms my tush, but most importantly it takes us where we need to go, Im one step ahead of where I was yesterday, I am not afraid to say no, I stand my ground, I fight hard, love harder, I make more time than what time permits, but I never have time for bullshit, I punch excuses in the throat, I kick laziness in the ass, I am welcoming to those who come across me, beware to those who try to cross me, I can be lovable, loud, nerdy, and goofy, yet aloof and even temperamental, but I am me, and I am happy because Ive learned to keep my life drama-free, life isnt meant to be simple, I ride this roller coaster with my hands high in the air, when Im down I get up, I am grateful, I am loved, I have purpose... Im damn proud of the woman I am.
