I have gotten worse news. My sister had a scan done today to determine the extent of my dads illness. It seems the cancer is very progressed. They have told her the 6 month window has been collapsed to 2 months or less. I have already before she told me this changed my return flight date from monday next week to extend 2 weeks. But I think considering this, I might extend it a lot longer. This is a rather harsh kick in the pants for me. I am glad (in some ways) that the job did not come through. Seems maybe mom or someone else up there was watching and things happen for the best as they say. Those on my facebook friends list that are friends with my Dad, very soon is the time to go see him. This will accelerate quickly.
