I have had THE Best Week of my life. I have a new found girlfriend who is terrific. We have been out together almost all week. Yesterday I took her to Service Canada to start her on her way to receiving her Widows Allowance I come to find out that there is a Survivors Pension from the CPP. This is on top of my Widows Allowance. Since I am not earning the money I once was, I am hoping I will get this added allowance. I was able to put all the necessary documents together and I mailed the forms away earlier TODAY! They even wanted a VOID cheque for automatic deposit if I am accepted. My new found girlfriend and I share a lot in common. She is a very recent widow and we both attend the VON Grief Counselling Sessions together. We hit it off from DAY 1 which was three weeks ago this past Wednesday. We still have 5 more weeks left! I am asking for your prayers that I am able to receive this extra benefit. Every dollar helps!
