I have had a lengthy discussion which centered around race this evening. I will say that racial tension in the USA is still at a high level. I dont know how to address the problem other than individual tolerance and acceptance. My position is that we are all racist to a certain extent. We cluster in neighborhoods to live among people with like thoughts and like backgrounds because it makes us comfortable. Other than that, people who believe that we can all live side by side are delusional. No one does that. We live and encounter those of which we feel most comfortable. It is really that simple.That is the way of the world. Screw the liberals who say otherwise. The liberals live in Massachusetts and have coctail parties among their contemporaries and talk shit about what should be done. Meanwhile, the employees are Mexican or black, serving the guests. How disgraceful! Sorry for being verbose.
