I have had a relapse into playing live--on my pc. I had a couple days with little to do and downloaded some call of duty games from steam. I suck at it even more than I used to. The more modern game, modern warfare, live, multiplayer, I did a little better at. I think its because there are more inexperienced players. Because I like WW2 games I played World at War online--and got my ass continually kicked. These guys have been playing this game since it came out and they know all the maps and they have honed their reflexes. My reflexes are sucky anyway. When I play a single player first person game, set on normal difficulty, I do pretty well--because bots arent as cunning as real people. They arent experienced either. Im 61 and slower than I used to be and even then I wasnt very good at it. I couldnt put in the time. One problem I still have from the old days--face to face with an enemy, wholl shoot first--I spaz out. Or rather, I choke. My hand goes tense on the mouse and I cant properly aim and fire that way. So he executes me. Or I get off two shots and he gets off ten. Demoralizing!
