I have had an interesting couple of days. Interesting because they illustrate so perfectly some things Daddy God has been teaching me, and that I have been sharing with you. The circumstances, without going into them, have been bad, designed to take my focus off of Yeshua. Nothing of the right things I knew to do or say seemed to work. It was as if the devil was laughing at me for posting only a few days ago about being wise to all of his tricks. He used them all on me, from anger to impatience to frustration, and they all seemed to be working. In the midst of it all, though, and through all the clamor and turmoil in my mind, the Holy Spirit began gently ministering to me. He reminded me that God already had it all under control, and the things I was fretting about were things He had already resolved. Recognizing that, and confessing it, and forgetting about methods as I focused on Him, I was able to return to the place of peace. It took all of yesterday, and most of today, but He was very patient with me, as He is with us all. More than ever, i know I am in the right place, doing what I am supposed to do. The inconvenience of not having things exactly as I want them to be is a complaint of the flesh, and it has no power over me. The vast number of things that are right, and the overwhelming weight of blessings as against unpleasant circumstances, makes me content with things as they are.
