I have had enough. Some other volunteer needs to step up and be the Oregon Country Fair Facebook group moderator. Ive done this service for the past four years. I have admitted thousands of people, read thousands of posts, read all the good the bad and the ugly. Ive kept this group mostly SPAM free and suffered so many personal attacks that I am oh so over it. So someone, ANYONE step up and do this job or my next step will be to start removing all 9,572 of you until there are none and the group will close itself down when the membership hits zero. The ideal person has: the patience of a saint, no personal opinions about anything ever, a good eye to detect spammers when they request to join the group (two or three every day), a BUM or two in their contacts (trust me youll need one sooner or later), and a very thick skin. Working knowledge of the Fair and the Guidelines are helpful. This job does not pay or come with a pass to the Fair or even a food voucher. You do it because you love the community.
