I have had many friends added since I posted my testimony figured I would do it no to update many of you, you may want to run after you read it. Testimony I came to Christ at the age of 40 because of a dream. For most of my life I claimed to be a Christian, but I never lived like it, nor did I submit to the leadership of Christ in my life. At this age, I was unforgiving and did not forgive any offense no matter how slight. I had a quick and horrific temper. I did not like people nor did I want to be around them. My family and I lived 30 miles from the closest town and ½ mile to the nearest neighbor. No one was ever invited to my house nor was anyone welcome. If you came to my house and my 5 dogs did not scare you off I stepped out on the porch with a shotgun. I also had been having an affair on my wife. One day I left my wife to move in with my girlfriend, that night I had a dream of Christ. He was standing in front of me with his hands spread and at the tips of his fingers were two wells he spoke and told me to look in each. One was the color of pitch, a flat black in color. He told me this is your heart and I cannot use you. Next he told me to look in the other, so I did, and it was so clear that if the bottom was a thousand feet you could have seen it. He spoke and told me if I wanted to be used my heart had to be like this. As I looked up there was two glasses one with the pitch in it and one with the pure water. He told me to choose NOW so I drank the glass of clear water. The next day I went back to my wife and started studying the Bible like never before. That day I started with Matthew and when I got to Matthew 6:14-15, I realized I had never been a Christian. You see you have to forgive to be forgiven, something I have never done. That day I wept and started forgiving things that went back 30 years in some cases. My hideous temper and pride were gone and I stopped drinking and repented. In about two weeks I felt a call to become a Missionary. I prayed to Christ and told him that if he wanted us to be missionaries that he would have to tell my wife, because after what I did she might bury me in the back yard and no one would blame her. I could not sleep but an hour a night for a couple of weeks. After two weeks Carol said we needed to talk, I figured she had noticed that I had not been sleeping and wanted to know why. We sat down on the couch and she told me she felt God calling us to be missionaries. A year later, my wife and I were missionaries in Bethel, Alaska with the Yup’ik Eskimos.
