I have had quite a few inquiries about what wrap I have on the front of my chassis. Its called a Sniper Skid Plate and helps when you are shooting off barricades (and helps from your beauty getting all scratched up). It allows you to shoot off a barricade accurately, and negates the recoil physics of the rifle recoil. If you do not use an intermediate soft material, such as a bean bag, a jacket, it causes a reaction where the rifle will Jump on recoil and will severely impede your ability to take a follow up shot. This also prevents slippage of the hard wood or fiberglass stock on the barricade and prevents chipping and scratching of the surface.
