I have had quite a night first planning to boycott Nick Zukins businesses then really exploring my feelings. I cant agree with Nicks position that one should not boycott a business based on their beliefs. However at the same time, I cannot support a boycott against Nick (who hasnt at all demonstrated any agreement with the hate speech itself). I dont think you can just hit the blacklist button on someone you disagree with. However, if someone pulls the shit that one lady did, too freaking bad. Without a huge change in attitude and not just writing an empty check, you will never have my business and I will share that with everyone. At any rate, my boycott of that upcoming grocer and with places like Jimmy Johns (who was big game hunting elephants, etc.) I have to accept my responsibility in this protest and should not take it lightly and to those who truly deserve it. I personally do not believe that Nicks businesses deserve a boycott. I actually had an opportunity to chat with regarding the controversy and find that I do not agree with his views but find him to be a pleasant and sensitive guy.
