I have had quite an upsetting experience this afternoon. A young man came to read the meters and I said to come in and ignore the dogs as they are all noise. He went into the kitchen and shouted that Mariuca had bitten his leg. I said that she would not have done that (whilst grovelling apologetically) as she has a habit of sticking her nose in the back of your calf to attract attention. He said he had had many dog bites and knew it was a bite. I asked if the skin was broken and he didnt think so but wouldnt show me his leg. I persisted and he eventually showed me. There was not a mark on it, so she had clearly just nudged him. He was adamant she had still bitten him, though not hard. I felt awful but still knew she hadnt done it. She has teeth like Dracula, not little pearly ones like Skye, so there would have been a hole in his leg had she bitten him. He went off grumbling, but I am relieved I saw his unmarked leg, so know Mariuca had not done it. Phew.
