I have had so many people call me just in the past week with needs, and also asking for me to pray for direction in their life and Gods calling that is before them....... As I was reading in my Bible this morning...God brought me to this today...... EVERYONE in this life has a purpose, a calling, a reason to be here...Each of us are fearfully and WONDERFULLY made...When doing my Womens Ministry or speaking at a Conference, I have been asked many times about How do I find MY calling that is on my life or how do I find MY true purpose? There are 6 ways in which you can find Gods calling on your life...... COMMIT, PRAY, PREPARE, OBEY, ACT and TRUST...... When you commit yourself to go wherever GOD leads you, then you must PRAY about it,,,asking GOD to use you in a mighty way,,,,,,,,and PREPARE for the task God sets before you,,,take it serious and perfect the skills and gifts God has given you for you are the only one with these gifts and the only one that can perform them like you can....then OBEY and dont doubt where GOD leads you for He sees the big picture and knows when and where to call on you to use your gifts and talents,,,,,,ACT....when the time comes and there is an opportunity to serve Him,,,,go.....dont hesitate.....for our steps are ordered of The Lord and he will direct our path and when a door is opened there is a reason for it so go through that door boldly and with confidence and be assured that it is for a reason...and then the big one...TRUST.....this is crucial that we should never doubt God or even question or ask why......even when adversities or conflicts arise, just trust and believe in your heart that He has a divine purpose and plan and just go in obedience trusting Him for He knows whats best for us.....Remember this scripture...... Revelation 3:8 “‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. So, if you will do these 6 things, HE will do the rest. As you look in the context of your own gifts and abilities, what is it that needs doing that you can do? None are more important or significant that others......Dont covet someone elses gifts or talents because God has given you the ones He did for a reason....You are unique and special......With the gifts and talents GOD has equipped you with, ask yourself where can you use them to benefit and glorify the Kingdom of God? It is time to act. “God can’t steer a parked car.” Commit to serving him without conditions and move in the direction of your gifts and your passions, trusting that God will steer and lead. Wherever HE leads you, HE will provide you a means of performing whatever calling HE has and will WELL equip you with whatever you need to accomplish it.
