I have had such a great week with my students! They were definitely placed in my life at this point for a reason. They are incredibly thoughtful, eccentric, and absolutely hysterical. I wish I could take them all out for a steak, but when I told them that they all told me they had to wash their hair. ;) In all seriousness, teens get such a bad rap; its par for the course with every generation. I wish everyone could spend a day with this group and see they are budding PEOPLE and still formulating ideas about the world around them. Lets leave a good impression. Stop telling them life sucks. Tell them life is what you make it. Love them. Listen to them. Humor them. So, about that steak...
