I have had the pleasure of meeting Jian Ghomeshi on a few occasions and found him to be a great guy. Having said that, I do hope he has success in clearing his name - IF he is innocent. The CBC saw the potential story that would be played out in the media and acted in its best interests. I do not think they can be faulted for that. Ones private life is their own as long as it stays private. As for the allegations against Jian, abusing women is very much as bad as abusing children. Using power over someone who is powerless to stop you is wrong without exception. If he is guilty of this behaviour then he has only just begun to receive the disgrace and punishment he deserves. May he triumph IF he truly deserves to. And only then.
