I have had the privilege of being off work for days over the holiday and it has given me more time to spend with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit receiving the rest and restoration I needed. I spent a lot of that time going on youtube listening to the old gospel hymns that fill me to overflowing with gratitude for his love and promises, the desire to press onward to the high calling of God, joy unspeakable, peace that passes all understanding and hope for the day that this will all be over and I will see my Jesus face to face. It also filled me with the overwhelming knowledge of all of those out there who do not have that hope and who face everyday without the comfort of His presence and His question to me; "What are you doing to win all of those you see each day? When they see and hear you, are they seeing and hearing Me, and finding the rest, restoration and hope that you have? They are lost, not for a time, but, for eternity. Let that knowledge burn in your mind and the desire to reach them for Me burn into your heart and soul. It matters not how lovely or unlovely they are, how mean or hateful, how they use and abuse you, they are a lost soul and you may be the only representation of me they will ever see. Think on these things each day child, examine yourself, look at them as I look at them, lost for eternity and respond accordingly." Lord, let me not see anyone with my eyes, but, with the eyes of the one who died for a wretch like me.
