I have had to save Chris from these countless times in the field. They really fancy jungle huts. In Laos I tried to catch one in a camera lens case from our bamboo hut. It was way too big. Fail. It slipped between one of the gaps between the slats of the floor. I assured Chris it couldnt get under our insect netting while we slept (lies). The next day I found a half meter skink in bed with me. The huntsman spiders were everywhere as soon as the sun set. I had to go in with a torch each night had move them out before Chris saw them. A couple nights in, I heard a Tokay gecko calling in a huge tree next to our camp. I said allowed please Mr Tokay, come to our hut. You will eat like a king. We got in from a late night hike and guess who was in our room?! The gecko! And guess who wasnt there? Thats right, the worlds largest spiders!
