I have hope today. I digest and consume the words of priests, educators, colleagues, bishops, administrators -all white, who not only acknowledge “the evils of racism and white supremacy” as they call it, but their lives and work are dedicated to opening and touching the eyes and hearts of many to bring Shalom and peace to Earth as it shall be on Heaven… “Whether a bishop, administrator, educator, pastor, deacon, lay leader, or parishioner, and especially our Christian colleagues in ethics and theology, each has a gift and responsibility to manifest the Spirit for the common good (1 Cor 12:7) in the face of the evil of white privilege…”- Interrupting White Privilege: White theologians break the silence. I am a servant and follower of our Master of the Universe. On His vast thoughts I find refuge and comfort, I am in awe of God’s love and forgiveness, Her everlasting love and grace. He brings light and hope into the world every new day... I am hopeful. I have a new hope today.
