I have in my office what I call, Dont Get a Big Head Photos. Things to look at when I get all filled with myself. This is one of those photos...thats the galaxy that Earth floats around in...that little yellow circle contains ALL, every one of the stars we see when we go out at night, and look up. You know how big the night sky looks to us standing down here looking up at it and all those billion and billion of stars. Well this is reality. Our entire us is smaller than a pin-prick inside that little yellow circle. Everything we have ever done, or will ever do, will fit on the head of a pin, inside that circle. Pretty hard to get all Peacocked and boisterous up from this point of view...but just to bring it home...that tiny dot at the end of the arrow in the 2nd photo...thats our Galaxy. Every other dot, or smudge in that photo, whole entire other galaxies. Space, keeps me grounded.
