I have just cast my vote for the UDM. As I stood on the queue, I sang the following song: Ubaba nkosi u si ncede, si jambe nge ndlela yo ku lunga, Alelujah makubenjalo. Was also guide by the following from the sermon of His Grace on Easter Sunday when he said: South Africans should go out and elect representatives who represent you as you would like to be represented. Go out to elect leaders who understand their mandate and responsibilities. You must always remember that people deserve the government that they elect. If you think low of yourself you will elect low level leaders. If you think high of yourself, you will elect high level, smart and intelligent leadership. Pray for the wisdom to choose intelligently. The wisdom to elect leaders who will not forget about you once you have elected them. Leaders who do not confuse public funds with theirs. The type of leader you should elect is the one described in the book of Isaiah chapter 33 verse 15 which reads thus: “He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that keeps his hands from the holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil.”
