I have just completed watching the documentary on the West gate mall attack and it is one of the saddest documentaries to watch. It has really moved my heart and kept me thinking. The fact that our country is prone to terrorists attacks, it is prudent for the government to have a special unit in its defense system,specifically trained to deal with the West gate like situations in a more professional and coordinated manner. Honestly, the documentary has revealed incompetence of our army officers in the dealing with the attack. The Kenya SWAT team responded three hours later after the attack began;started shooting aimless and dispelled the civilian police officers, who had made a brave attempt to take on the terrorists and save life. The incompetent SWAT team, takes full control of the mall with only four terrorists and blast the mall.
