I have just had the privilege of experiencing some of the wonders - TopicsExpress

I have just had the privilege of experiencing some of the wonders of our natural world in my home country Zimbabwe. I can honestly say I and many of my family, friends and fellow Zimbabweans were truly born into perfection no matter what our background. So grateful. My Dad spoilt my sister and I over Christmas. Sometimes I wonder if we are deserving of his generosity! We were treated to an amazing 3 night stay in Victoria Falls followed by a truly spectacular 3 night stay in Hwange National Park at beautiful Camp Hwange (a very special thank you to friend and camp manager Julian Brookstein for making this a possibility). I can tell you that even though I speak of the glory of this trip, we as a family did not always play happy family. The reality is that we struggle with each other. There were some tough times as anger and pain took us down some ugly paths even the most stunning of places did not give us immunity to the reality of life. At the end of it all and most importantly we have come away with some amazing memories together. The good outweighs the bad and I am blessed with a father who is a man of such good intention, generous and above all a loving and forgiving father and I have a very special sister who is honest with me at all times and loves me even when I am not so likeable. We take for granted our family and yet they are ultimately our biggest supporters. Love my family. With that I would like to wish each and everyone the fondest farewell to the year that is 2014. May the many peaks and troughs have provided you all with the greatest opportunity for the opening of your hearts, the space for more love and true gratitude for the privilege of another day on our incredible planet earth. May 2015 bring peace of mind and may you fulfil your hopeful hearts, may you embrace the mystery and beauty that lies ahead each of you. Let us release our fears and accept our divine journey in the knowledge that all is as it should be. We are loved and we are accepted just as we are. Let us connect always with the present moment. All my love to you all as I fly off to spend the NY with my brother, sister and nieces in Zambia, a special gift from my brother ... Blessed ... Yes! Xxx
