I have just left Lawrence General hospital where my father has unfortunately resided for the last two weeks. Doctors this week have inundated my brain cells with the resounding fact that they are giving my Poppy less than 24 hours to live! I apologize for the crude way of announcing like this but it seems to get the word our quicker than dialing up! I am utterly crushed as this was the first man I set my eyes upon, he stole my heart and protected and swore to love me forever is NOW sadly running out of time !!!My baby brother, Richard wants to be there til the very end like he did with our late brothers and Mom! I cant even begin to tell you how many clergyman, hospice workers, nurses, strangers prayed over my Poppy today and asked if I needed a hug? I said I just hoped God would let me here my Poppy call my name one more time. It seemed he smiled after I kissed his lips. You are a courageous man whom I am honored to have had in my life and when that kill joy of unwanted news happens - Ill look down at my hand that I placed in his forever And - remember Ill always be your little Girl - Brokenhearted GSK! ;-(
