Dear all Please spread far and wide, today my friend Julie had the supposedly RSPCA knocking at her door, Julie and her husband were both out working, their son answered the knock at the door where two woman said they were RSPCA officers and that there had been a complaint about her dogs …they asked if they could come in and see the dogs and Julie’s son said no you’ll have to come back when his parents were back, on return home Julie phoned the RSPCA and they had no record of the visit and that their officers would have left a card ….there was no card left and she was advised to call the police immediately ..so that’s what she did and it turns out that there had been many incidences of this practice, operating in Letchworth Hertfordshire and people were impersonating many officials to gain access to peoples pets and confiscating them ……these people are thieves/ pet knappers then they are holding folks pets to ransom / stealing to order, in Julie’s case they were after the GSD’S… Folks please be vigilant ask for ID do not let anyone in your home and don’t leave YOUR pets in the garden they are also stealing from the back gardens by lifting fence panels etc … I assure you this is not a HOAX in this particular case the offenders are using a white van with small letters rspca ….
