I have just received an email with an amazing opportunity for landholders to attend the upcoming Joel Salatin workshop in Mareeba on 26 February. Reef Catchments are calling for Expressions of Interest from landholders to take a bus to Mareeba for this event. They will cover the cost of the bus and the workshop, so it is a great opportunity for us to learn from the master in regenerative agriculture. Rob and I have attended two of his workshops in the past and most of what we do at Freckle Farm has been based on Joels ideas. For those those who dont know him, Joel Salatin is internationally respected for his innovative animal systems that have healed his land and brought him abundant fertility and enviable profits. Joel has almost single handedly inspired a movement of regenerative farmers and created opportunities for young people to get farming.
