I have just returned from a 10 day bus tour of WA, visiting Perth, Margaret River, Cape Leewin. Geraldton and Monkey Mia. A big country with diverse landscape but wild flowers were amazing. Long trip back to Perth from Monkey Mia covering approx 800kms in one day. Most enjoyable and weather athough threatening at times did not rain on our parade. Loved seeing dolphins being fed at Monkey Mia. Loved the Pinnacles, structures on the beach made of limestone and shell from thousands of years ago (just looked like rocks poking up our of the sand) and Shell Beach was covered in tiny tiny shells for miles. The recently built memorial to the HMAS Sydney, not long found, is quite astounding and all the seagulls in the roof of the dome represent all the lives lost on the Sydney.
