I have just returned home from my morning run. The Standard - TopicsExpress

I have just returned home from my morning run. The Standard Chartered Marathon, which i had planned to run, is just around the corner. At this time i should be thinking setting a new mark in my running by adding more distance while at the same time beating the clock. But that isnt the case, and all it took was one day. That day my alarm went off as usual and instead of hitting the road, i hit the alarm because i didnt feel like going for a morning run. When Chris Gardner sees his dream car, in the movie The Pursuit Of Happyness, he has one question that seeks to know the what and how. The people who make us ask these questions are just like us, the only difference is what they do within a span of the twenty four hours we all have. And even if you were to have everything you dream of, you still must wake up to be able to enjoy living your dream. Nothing comes easy. You have got to keep moving and find the inspiration deep inside you to keep doing what you do even, and especially when you dont feel like doing it. Keep going to work, keep going to class and keep treating your spouse well. What if they hand the promotion to the wrong guy? What if a former student drops by your school and dishes out scholarships? What if your spouse meets someone who gives them the love and devotion they so crave? Just keep at it. This is where the battle is won, or lost. And because i had stopped jogging i am out of breath, won out, almost quit along the way by jumping onto a bus and yet i have to go one of the boys i met in prison. I am not doing it because i feel like doing. I just must do it for the honor and glory of God. There... I hope you will have a song in your life today. Be blessed
