I have known two men who battled against good and evil. One man, unknowingly confused, persistently insisted that theres no good anymore. He had dramatically experienced all of lifes blessings and curses. He knew the Creator but doubted His existence when his life fell apart and needed change. The other man however, although has suffered more than the first man, tries to believe that there is still good in every mans heart. He desperately reminds himself of what he learned during his childhood which he carved in his heart. The two men barely know each other. As the former continued his speech, the latter listened and I observed the two. The one speaking finally finished and he stopped to listen to the others response. Youre a man who has suffered and wants revenge, but you have no idea that many people have suffered or is suffering more than you do. Why then that you choose not to believe? It is because you have not love. --real and perfect love. You do not want change because you are a coward. You told yourself you have peace but you actually dont. You want to think that youre doing fine and you are trying to show us that you are not affected by the decisions you have made. You have become selfish and you think only of yourself, hurting everybody else. Your heart is dead, your soul is in darkness. The devil by your side is smiling because you are playing the game he created. The first man turned pale though he tried his best to hide it. How could he possibly know, he thought. There was a long silence until I finally spoke. Life is all about choices. Good and evil exist and it is in the power of a man to choose which side to belong to and which side to portray. You may believe one but portray the other, but thats not what really matters. What matters most is a mans heart and how he uses that heart towards others. Thats what really counts.
