They dont have to be the right books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way. Then copy and paste this text to your status and tag 10 friends including me so I can see. In no particular order: Okay so here are some of my favorite books. There are 12 because I am more of a rebel! than Greg, my husband! lol Books: 1. Freedom Writer, Written by The Freedom Writers, a High School Literature Class Best non-fiction book ever! True story that is compelling and very heartwrenching at the same time. This is about a bunch of High School students who dont have the resources to get ahead, but education and understanding has led them to be great people and go on to college as they got a thirst for learning after having this class, writing a book and having a teacher that truly cared about their future! 2. 1984 - by Goerge Orwell This gave me perspective on what could be in our world, which seems to have come true today. Everything we do is tracked! 3. The Great Gatsby - by F. Scott Fitzgerald Gave me perspective on how wealthy people live as we grew up in a wealthy city, but we were not wealthy, so I tried to understand their perspective. Its a great love story as well, so that was a part of the whole story for me as I always wanted to find love in my life, it was my lifes dream. And now I have found it, I am blessed!
