I have listened carefully to Mr Espen Barth Eide tonight 27-11-2014 at the University of Cyprus . There seems to be a lot of space for a lot of unbiased information to be passed to him. (role of Turkey since 3/7/1570 to todays role of Turkey, excerpts from Davutoglus Strategic Depth , The Fukau report on Turkish settlers & ethnic cleansing violations in Cyprus, the material parts and causants of the so called Cyprus Problem which is in reality the continuing Cyprus occupation problem etc, etc , etc) The overemphasis as regards his sole absolute and only role = to bring the two sides together and this, only when the two sides are indeed already SITTING on the negotiating table, whilst he very politely seems to lightly bypass the tiny obscured lilliput invasion of Turkey on European Union-Cypriot EEZ which is NOT AN INVASION he said, explaining to the audience that: invasion is only when ...on land!!!! but that was only a violation of maritime law...(a law that Turkey has NOT signed and he knows this!) ...... Well Since anything else being said shall justifiably be considered as Greek Cypriot bias, I will cordially invite his Excellency to read at least GETTING IT WRONG of Martin Packard (A British Naval officer neither a Greek nor a Turkish Cypriot!). As regards Hydrocarbons and T/C share...Yes indeed we shall safeguard and protect this share and see it reaching its destination...in due course... BUT ...what about the stolen properties of almost 200.000 G/C displaced people or refugees! No Hydrocarbon share discussion should be allowed before the last Kyrenian is given back hers or his human right to return back home to the district of Kyrenia, together with their Kyrenian Turkish Cypriot compatriots, in safety under the law of the European Union and their human rights fully protected. I humbly suggest that the full application of human rights FOR ALL CYPRIOTS should be the mandate of the UN Secretary General representative inspite of gigantic and unprecedented multi nature interests existing with Goliath Turkey. Your Excellency, Turkeys particular neo-ottoman policy and Turkeys mainland leadership is the Key for the solution TODAY, NOW, ...and have the courage to say it !! If you do not... then Please do not ask why the Cyprus problem exists for well over 50 years, as you already have the answer!!
