I have lived in Ferguson sense my whole life. We lived on Mueller and Suburban in Ferguson. I remember when the Blackwell owned the store right on the corner of Suburban and Florissant Rd. I remember the E.J. Carvet on Evan Lane. I remember the Movie Theater on Florissant Rd . I remember the Ben Franklin that is the Hardware store now. I went to Cool Valley Elementary School in 1967 My family was the first Black family That attended School in Ferguson. I remember a White girl, her name is Shirley Hardy. She lived on Plaza. She had her own Motor Cycle and we had bikes, I was so jelious. I remember the Ewalls Family, They lived on Graff. I also remember White girl name Marla Borrack, She can sing her heart out. Time sure do change things. I ran relay in Cool Valley and won a Blue Ribbon and didnt even know what it was, LOL I took it home and put it in my Draw. My Mom Found it and told me what a Blue Ribbon was for. I also remember a white boy name Mark Record. I had a crush on him. LOL. The photo of down town Ferguson is absolutely beautiful.
