I have lived in Vacaville most of my life and I attended Vacaville public schools. My children also attended Vacaville public schools and my wife is an employee of the school district, so I am well aware of the issues facing our educational community. As a board member I have worked hard to maintain open communication with all members of our community. We are heading into challenging times in education, with new ways to deliver our curriculum, a new funding formula and advances in technology. As the school board grapples with these issues, I promise to continue to make decisions based on one thing only: what’s best for our kids. Let’s work together to build a stronger school community. Better schools create a brighter future for our kids and a more thriving Vacaville community. I ask for your vote.
