I have lived long enough and experienced enough to know that comfort can come from a wide variety of sources; friends, family, food, pleasant surroundings, a hug, a smile, etc. Last night, as I was feeling a moment of sadness as I pondered the significantly hard things some people I know are experiencing, a scripture came into my mind, repeatedly, my grace is sufficient for thee(2 Cor 12:9). How grateful I am to know a loving God is there to carry us over and through the hard times in our lives. Today, as I learned of the untimely death of a friends son, I relied on that scripture even more. God bless those who have reason to mourn, whatever the cause.
