I have long felt this way too, but in the comments, one commentor, Noah, makes a very interesting counter point: If my experiences in life give people the strength and courage to get up in the morning, then that is A-Okay with me. It is not my job to judge and determine what qualifies as inspiration. To every single person, inspiration is in a different form. So while I feel like a normal person and see my everyday life as nothing spectacular, I am perfectly fine if someone wants to use me as another reason to hang on a little bit longer. I hope Stellas message still gets through-- people with disabilities are still people; it can be insulting to treat them as if it is just amazing that they can live lives and have feelings just like everyone else. But there can be an acknowledgement that the world is not friendly for people with disabilities. As Noah points out, sometimes a person needs a lift, and seeing that people can overcome that extra challenge, and refuse to be told, No, is how some people draw that needed inspiration. That isnt such a bad thing, either. This is why conversation is a good thing. There is seldom a slam dunk opinion that just nails down the one and only way a person should think about something.
