I have looked at some examples of Common Core math, and have reached a conclusion regarding this agenda. The Educators of the world (not to be confused with Teachers) dont WANT children to understand basic math. Because, if you understand basic math, you can understand basic economics, and that is dangerous to those who want to control the population. If you understand simple addition and subtraction, you realize that no one can spend more than they make. And that currency is only as valuable as the product you can purchase with it. Given those two areas of understanding, a Government can not continue to spend more than its economy creates, or it will cause the currency to inflate; to require more currency to purchase the stable amount of goods. This basic understanding of economics is BAD for a government who is irresponsible with the revenue it receives. Now, take a population and fill their heads with nonsense about adding to subtract, and how numbers really dont mean anything, and you have a population gullible enough to accept ANY theory of economics. And that is what the Common Core proponents desire; people who believe they are educated, but cant reason simple mathematical problems. Welcome to Common Core.
