I have lost eight friends. I know this because I used to have 4,999 and I now have 4991. Did eight people unfriend me? If so, why? Were they tired of me not updating? Were they kind enough to unfriend me so eight more friends could be added? Is that a reasonable definition of friend? If so, selfless friends, come back. Come back. The new people can never be your equal, you selfless friends, you... Alternatively. Were eight imposters tossed by the Facebook Goon Squad? (Is there a facebook goon squad? One wonders what it would look like. I suspect its very big algorithms dressed in matching kakhis and FB golfshirts...) I think I need to check the ingredients in the Chinese food I had for lunch...
