I have lost many loved ones in my life. Parents, family, and friends but last Tuesday morning I lost a friend, mentor, father figure, and a brother in Christ after a very long hard fought battle,Mike Malone, and for the first time in a long time I cried long and hard. Mike was the kind of man that one day I hope to be like. His love of Jesus showed in everything he did and everyone he met. He didnt just read the book or wear the tshirts but he really lived by its teachings. I never realized how much Mike meant to me and how much he had afected my life until I read of his passing. The world has lost a great man, leader and Christian and I have lost but will never forget a true friend ,father, and brother. God blessed me when I met Mike and Barbara Malone with another set of great parents. I hope that I can one day live up to the great example that he has set and when we meet in Heaven, I know he will be there to greet me. Rest in Peace my friend.
