I have lots of things. I have lived with very few things and I - TopicsExpress

I have lots of things. I have lived with very few things and I could again but if you know me youll know that I collect things pretty quickly to the degree that takes a little more space than I have. This happens regardless of how much space I have or how much money I have. A lot of what I collect will be related to what I can make, or what I imagine I might make some time. In broker times my creativity is just as large and my house might be filled with grasses and weeds and items awaiting makeovers. I have made some awesome things out of expensive materials and I have made some very awesome things out of free and natural or pre-used materials. I can never think of free materials to use when I have money... its a pattern Ive accepted. I have also, literally, lost everything and more than once. Although it is a major event, it is not as big a deal as you might think. (It would be even less a big deal now since our photos live on the cloud). At this time of year I often consider What do I really need? The answer to that has not changed much over the last several years: I need a dog. I need high speed Internet access and a computer. Everything else is negotiable. I have found in this lifetime that I can live without those people and animals I thought I could not live without, or at least without their physical presence. But I cannot live without loving. A dog is always good for that and does not take nearly the screening or work that a human does for the same position. And that is the major reason I need my computer. Though people scoff at Facebook (and if their friends are very different from mine, perhaps with good reason) I consider it the Church of Facebook and it is important to me (as the AOL Artists Cafe once was) because my people are here. It takes a certain kind of communicator to make good friends online and apparently, I am that kind of communicator and so are many of my friends. I need a community of open people to be loving in. I have a number of those and Facebook is as important as any of the others. I am called wise. That is because I have very high mileage and I pay attention to everything I see about people and about myself. I have learned a lot and until very recently I did not learn anything the easy way. That is what motivates me to want to help others make their lives better. For every person that one of my lessons helps, it seems to reduce the price of that lesson and everything was well worthwhile. Thank you with all my heart to you who have open hearts and to you who are working at having open hearts. As Ram Das says We are all just walking each other home. Im very glad to be walking with you. Namaste my loves. Happy Holidays and Happy Everydays.
